Doom-just the name alone makes you drool over your BFG 9000 and Shotgun. Direct from the PC to your SNES system Doom is a fun FPS on the SNES. With the used of the FX2 chip the graphics are not bad for it's time and the music is quite good. However there are some cons to the game.

Experience a quantum leap in hardcore first-person activity and the ultimate in speed and penetration of Doom Eternal. Return as a DOOM Slayer against the forces of hell to vengeance that is cruel. Equipped with techniques and weapons, you are going to take as an butcher on both demons. If your heart stops beating, it might be Mick Gordon's soundtrack.
With some skepticism, hardcore gamers expected the release of the Doom reboot in 2016. As it turned out, the concern was mostly unfounded - at least the campaign convinced me personally from front to back. The multiplayer developed outside of id Software was rather disappointing.
The story in brief:
I admit, the joke was a bit cheap - Doom never made a fuss about his extravagant plot, but I can tell you a bit more. Doom Eternal picks up where its predecessor ended - with a cliffhanger (attention, spoilers required of course!). The Doom Slayer, our armored demon slaughterer, stops the invasion of the nasty creatures but is betrayed by Dr. Samuel Hayden in the end, only to disappear with the mysterious artifact weapon The Crucible suddenly.
Since our demo level doesn't start right at the beginning of the second part, but somewhere in the middle of it, we don't know yet how the cliffhanger will be solved. Only one thing is clear: The demons are back, and this time, they even terrorize the earth - and so we have the justification for another use of the monster killer.
By the way, the technical basis for the infernal battle record is the brand new id Tech 7 - Doom Eternal is thus the first game powered by it. According to id Software, the engine is able to display ten times as many geometrical details as to its predecessor. Although I think I can see an improved damage model, I don't want to judge from this short demo and the lack of direct comparison possibilities whether this results in a big graphical jump. But more importantly, the action thunders smoothly and softly across the screen, even with hordes of jumping enemies and lots of splatter effects.
Moreover, the new technique allows us to shoot off parts of the demon armor and her body, which is also playfully noticeable. For example, I shoot the cannon off the incubus' back before I give it the rest. Also, with other hell creatures, you first paralyze prominent weak points before it finally goes to their throats. This also has the advantage that the Doom Slayer has to take less damage. Of course, there's no lack of splatter scenes; the kill moves have even been extended considerably compared to the 'first part' .

Doom: Eternal will polarize - That's for sure! The playful differences to its predecessors are enormous. While the main focus of the earlier parts was set on quick reactions, Doom: Eternal requires a good amount of thinking and tactics. Quick decisions and dexterity quickly take a centre point in the extremely skill-based gameplay. We are curious about how the shooter will perform throughout the entire season. Technology, handling and inventiveness are just as good as the splatter factor typical of DOOM. If you like handling chainsaws and finally want to smash some demon heads, you've come to the right place!
